Kids Fishing Fest - Milliken State Park and Harbor JUNE 10 12:00 - 4:00 P.M.
Learn how to fish as a family during this FREE Fishing Weekend event! Staff from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Outdoor Adventure Center and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be on hand to teach kids how to fish. Snacks, giveaways, bait and rental poles are provided for free courtesy of the Detroit RiverFront

Reading and Rhythm on the Riverfront - Rivard Plaza - THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS, JULY 5- AUGUST 10 11:00 A.M., 12:00 P.M., 1:00 P.M.
Swing by Rivard Plaza for this free children's literacy program that features live children's entertainment and a book read by a local community leader or storyteller. The program is free and each child will receive a book for participating. Families and groups under 10 do not need to pre-register for the program.
