SATURDAY, MARCH 30 2:00 P.M. Pisanki (Pisanky) Egg Decorating
The Eastern European art of “writing” on eggs in a batik process for the Easter season. The symbolism in the awakening of spring in the artform of using a stylus and molten beeswax with various dye to write messages on eggs using symbols rather than words. Join instructor Susan Walker and her friends from Riverside Kayak Connection to learn this process.
Participants must be 14 or older (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.

What better way to get started on a garden than planting one you can keep indoors? Visit the OAC today to start your very own herb garden. Choose your favorite herb from our selection and plant some seeds in a starter container to take home with some simple care instructions to help it grow!
