SATURDAY, MARCH 16 2:00 P.M. The Real Weasels of the Wolverine State
Michigan is home to eight species of weasel, but the wolverine is not one of them! Join us for this family-friendly program, where we’ll take a look at these secretive animals through an interactive presentation and hands-on activities.
We recommend joining the fun at the start time. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive more than 15 minutes into the activity.
FEE: Included with the price of admission.
SATURDAY, APRIL 13 11:00 A.M. Grasslands are Great!
Pheasants depend on high-quality grasslands for nesting and raising their young. Grasslands are important to you and me as well! Did you know that grasslands help to improved air and water quality, and that the animals that live there help to pollinate crops? We’ll talk about different types of grasslands, the creatures that live there and how the DNR manages them for pheasants, deer, songbirds, and more!
FEE: Included with the price of admission.
At 8:30 a.m. we will take a walk to look for our resident Ring-Necked Pheasant
