THE MORE YOU KNOW... About Reading
MARCH IS READING MONTH
SUNDAY, MARCH 31 1:00 – 3:30 P.M. “Paddle to the Sea” at the OAC
In honor of Reading Month, we will be celebrating the classic children’s book, “Paddle to the Sea,” by Holling C. Holling. “Paddle” is a small wooden carving of an American Indian seated in a canoe, who is set off on a journey through the Great Lakes all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. During his journey he experiences incredible adventures and meets many friends who help him along the way. Come participate in a fun “Paddle”-themed scavenger hunt in the OAC to earn a chance at winning your own copy of this award-winning classic.
FEE: Included with the price of admission.
