The second Overhand Knot should be tied close to the first, and the very tip should be
cut short to avoid tangling with the line as it is wound to the spool. Fingernail clippers

make easy work of cutting fishing line close to a knot, but take care not to nick the knot
  with the clippers.

  UNI-KNOT

Also called the Grinner Knot, the Uni-Knot makes for a strong attachment to hooks,
  lures, or swivels.

STEP 1 Pass the running end through the eye, bring it back along the standing part,
and form a Multiple Overhand Knot.

STEP 2 Tighten so that the bight makes wraps around the center.

The Multiple Overhand Knot can be tightened down on the standing part, without
closing it down to the object to make a loop knot, allowing an attached lure to move
more freely and realistically in the water.
