ACCREDITATION MANAGER ONLINE TRAINING
This year on-line accreditation manager training for law enforcement, training academy, and campus security programs debuted. The training is a valuable resource for understanding how to manage the accreditation process. Each course is speci c by program, and has successfully developed individuals who effectively manage the accreditation process.
Courses have limited number of seats to ensure instructors can adequately provide assistance.
Accreditation Manager’s must complete the on-line training to pursue certi cation.
ACCREDITATION MANAGER CERTIFICATION
The CALEA Accreditation Manager Certi cation Program
was released in December 2017 and received several positive comments and inquiries. Experienced accreditation managers who regularly attend conferences, refer other agencies to become accredited, successfully manage the accreditation process,

and perform a host of other activities to support accreditation, deserve elite recognition. The CALEA Accreditation Manager Certi cation Program provides an opportunity for successful managers to earn speci c credentials as an expert in the process of accreditation.

ACROSS THE REGIONS
CALEA Commissioners and staff participated in 61 accreditation coalition meetings occurring across the United States, Canada and Mexico. These outreach efforts promoted information sharing and understanding of accreditation methodologies.
The use of Regional Advisory Boards, composed of Chief Executive of cers from public safety agencies were facilitated throughout the year to ensure strong communication mediums with industry practitioners and leaders.
