I am excited for my first year at Mountain Ridge to include Friday night
lights with all of the Ridge students, family, and educators coming together.
I know that all student-athletes involved have put in good work over the
summer and are just as excited to showcase their preparation efforts as the
supporters are ready to cheer them on for it. Thank you to all the coaches,

Michelle Martin – Assistant Principal

Football season is always a special time of the year. Families and friends
cheer on the team from the stands. Our staff and their children show their
support from the end zone. The Ridge Army shows off their spirit in style,
and the band keeps things lively with fun music. Add to this mix an out-
standing group of players and coaching staff, and you have what makes this
season so fun! I wish the team luck this season. Go Ridge!

Junior Michael – Assistant Principal/Athletic Director

As we enter the new two-year block of our game schedule, and a second
year of building with a new coaching staff, I cannot wait to see what the
season has in store for our community. The boys have sharpened their
skills in tournaments across the valley in blistering summer heat, including
a rainy 7 on 7 experience in Flagstaff. Ridge football also returned to our
California camp to set a tone for the upcoming season. We are excited to
see the fruits of their labor and continue to be grateful for the ongoing sup-
port from Ridge Army, Pride of the West, MRHS Spiritline, and the rest of
Mountain Lion Nation. GO RIDGE!

Football is back!! It is a new season for the Mountain Lions and our team is
ready to make it a season to remember. I look forward to the seniors leading
our team and setting the standard for years to come. I am equally ready to
see cheer, pom, band, Ridge Army, and the army of supporters it takes to
make Friday Nights so special for our community.
