made—online. A doctor’s website, blog, and digital platforms allow him or
her to create physician-patient communications and motivate both prospective
and current patients to make proactive health choices.
These are the steps patients take in their journey to your practice:
Awareness Stage: By creating content that addresses what your patients are
searching for you have a greater chance to appear on the ¬first page or two
of online search results. These are the options prospective patients will most
likely consider when determining their next step.
Consideration Stage: This is the stage where the patient is researching and
considering all the available approaches or methods to solving their defined
problem using your online presence.
Decision Stage: You need to provide a way for potential patients to submit
their contact information, or book a free consultation or appointment online,
prominently on your homepage.
