Everybody is I bet you probably think its unique, right? Here’s a little true story about some interesting people in 1979. Two
kids from nowhere, had a dream of getting somewhere in a time when disco was king, sex was safe, pleasure
was a business and... business... was booming.

as it had taken its course, at the point for a very short short moment in porn history.

those all long naked nights in-between earning the name Calipornication.
special thing, It started out in those late nights in the San Francisco bay to 101 drive straight south till you hit the other
valley, that is, the san Fernando valley the other side of the hill from Hollywood baby. This “futuristic Adam &
Eve Couple” ventured from the long busy hours out in New York city and found their way to LA. It was also a
Right? time when people bounced off each other to earn money, or to party, and never really invested in a meaningful
or deep relationship. Which was okay, because after all it was all for Calipornication.
Excited, and hopeful for the future. They took advantage of the availability of the hot Hollywood folk who just
What happened to stumble by their door, not to mention the pennies they were saving from the studios and office
space. Business got its boom back because their product was desired... And desired Big time. Getting people
hooked faster than they would on any other drug...
is And San Francisco? Yeah is was better than New York. But even then, the industry was not getting the amount
of return the producers hoped it would. People were still skeptical about selling sex, at least publicly. And then,
yours? once again, government stepped-in enforcing new laws designed to kill their booming biz. Their plan to make
porn more common and transparent worked and worked well by allowing the consumer to rent or buy their
productions to watch at one’s own convenience, in their homes. And then, oh yeah that right heres comes the
gov... government intercepted the production and distribution of these porn materials, by requiring that the
actors of said films be required to wear condoms.
And well, that was it... The Condoms on the set killed it, which then ignited the fall of the industry in 1984.
Video permits got rejected, thus production was moved to other locations including San Francisco where porn
producers could do everything. This was inclusive of homosexual and fetish content that was also met with a
lot of questions, but ultimately was the largest driver of industry revenues.
At the end of the day, the pornography industry grew from a 1 billion dollars company to a 12 billion dollar
industry with computer genius’s running all its operations. And government staying out of the way.
