NAll the elements of nature
along with the environment’s essence,
support human life and surround it
with joy and happiness. However, the
growing needs and demand of human
beings on environment is becoming a
threat. So, to promote the 3Rs; reduce,
reuse and recycle, little hands and
imaginative minds came together in
a creative burst of ‘Best out of waste’
which was conducted on 27th of July,
22. Our Pre-primary students prepared
very creative and innovative models
and art items from different waste
materials. They used materials like
newspapers, buttons, disposable glass,
straws. From these items, they created
an amazing array of display items and
useful everyday products.
Pre-Nursery kids made very
innovative paper glass bunnies by
using disposable paper glass, straws
and sheets. The toddlers whole
heartedly enjoyed making cute little
bunny friend.
The students of class Nursery were
equally enthusiastic and energetic.
The idea of reducing waste materials
and promoting eco-friendly products
was introduced to them through
pencil waste activity. The preschoolers
made flowers from it and decorated
them with crayon waste. This activity
definitely proved a hit.
Class Prep made newspaper bags.
The children now have the knowledge
of saying “No to Plastic” and going
green with the help of these bags.
The class I made the flowers with the
help of left over buttons at home. This
activity not only gave them the concept
of reducing waste but also proved beneficial for their artistic excellence.
