Summary

Now that you understand some of what you need to know
about rope and some multi-purpose knots that a prepper
might choose to use, the rest is up to you. Always remem-
ber that prepping is all about becoming as prepared as you
possibly can. Of course, this includes stockpiling supplies but
don’t forget that it’s just as important to fill your mind with
useful information you can draw upon in any type of crisis
that you might find yourself faced with.
While knowledge is important, when you practice putting
the knowledge that you have to use, you develop skills. It’s
the opinion of this author that becoming proficient with sur-
vival skills is as important, and maybe even more important,
than simply having a large stockpile of supplies.
You are encouraged to take what you have learned in this
book and put it to use in your day to day lives. Develop the
skills necessary to tie these knots as effortlessly as you tie
your shoelaces every morning. You’ll undoubtedly find many
uses for the knots you learn how to tie in this book, even
if you never have to use them in a survival situation. With
