Design

At the Port of Miami, as the ships’ port, passengers
staying in the veranda side cabins could only
experience the concrete rooftop view. The client
reached out to us inquiring if we could help with
the architectural enhancements of the rooftop.

At this time, we took the opportunity to educate
the customer on the multiple benefits of having a
rooftop garden besides just providing a decorative
space. Some of the added benefits that we
presented were temperature control, ecological
benefits, habitat for wildlife, to name a few. This
project ended being four phases which were
awarded to our company.

After we completed the project, the docked ships’
passengers can see the beautiful rooftop of the
Royal Palms.

The aerial view of the rooftop
added a nature scene that stood
out amongst the grey metal and
concrete of the terminal.

This view of nature was a more
pleasant and welcome view than
the previous concrete space which
welcome those who are about
to embark on their vacation and
adventure in Miami!
