Taekwondo Team
By Tang Chun Kit
Time flies, it was my last USFHK Taekwondo Competition.
I always treat Taekwondo not simply as a sport, but also as a dream. It has become part of me,
bringing me precious friendships and life-long changes. This was my honor to be the Team Captain
this year, and I truly treasured and enjoyed the time being in the team. People say Taekwondo is an
individual sport, but I felt that we fight as a TEAM in PolyU. I knew my teammates were cheering for
me when I was fighting inside the court. I felt thankful to have my teammates who always shared
my the most difficult but delightful times.
Like mountains, our team also had our ups and downs. Although we may not have achieved our
goal this year, I am certain our teammates will persist and aim for better results next year. I believe
this valuable experience would be utilised to overcome future challenges.
Dear my fellow teammates, I sincerely hope you never lose your passion and never stop
challenging yourselves. I am proud to see improvements from you all. I have faith that our biggest
goal will be accomplished, and we will stand on that champion stage again.
