1. What rights do you think you have?

2. Do you know people in your neighbourhood, city or country who do not enjoy some
or all of the rights? Who are these people? Which rights are they not able to enjoy?

Share with the class and discuss:

1. What can happen if human rights are ignored? How does that make
people feel?

2. Have you seen someone being treated unfairly or disrespectfully?

3. Do you think everyone around the world should know their rights?

4. What would happen if everyone knew their rights?

Exercise:
Pick any one right from the list on the previous pages that you feel strongly about. How

would you feel if that right was taken away from you? Write down your feelings.
