1. Make a miniature representation of landforms. Label each landform
and have fun doing it.
Material needed:
• white chart paper WATER FALL
• colour paints MOUNTAINS VOLCANO
• card board HILLS
PLAIN
• sketch pens RIVER JUNGLE
• pencil DESERT
• paintbrush ISLAND
• fevicol/glue OCEAN
• a pair of scissors
• waste boxes to get cardboard
• plastic trees and animals
Steps to follow:
• Cut out a base from waste boxes. Make it large enough to fit all
the landforms.
• With a pencil, mark places for different landforms.
• Use different poster colours to colour the base according to the
landforms. For example, colour the plains with green, mountains
with brown and white (to show snow at the top), yellow for deserts,
blue for the river and so on.
• On a different cardboard, draw trees and cut them out. Colour
them and paste them with glue in the areas you would want them.
You can also paste some plastic trees and animals to give a 3D
look.
• After you have given shape to all the landforms, label them clearly.
• Your miniature representation of landforms is ready! Don’t forget
to show it to your class.
