You read an extract from Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol in the
chapter ‘Christmas with the Cratchits’. It is a story about an old
miserly man who learns about the true spirit of Christmas and
becomes a benevolent person.
Now, form groups. Read the story again and convert the text into
a script. Write dialogues and stage directions. Then, perform it as a
play in the class. Remember to dress up in the right costume while
performing the play!
