It was a beautiful spring morning. The bird couple, Sam and Dora, decided to build

a nest for themselves. Dora was lazier than Sam but she was excited by the idea.

Sam: I want to build the most beautiful nest for us.

Dora: (excitedly) Okay...Let’s collect some material to start with.

They started collecting straws, twigs and sticks. After spending hours collecting the
material, Dora felt exhausted.

Sam: We will have to work very hard to build this nest.

Dora: (leaning against the tree) Hmm… But I am already tired. I can’t work

any more.

Sam: (in anger) Without working hard you can’t have what you want. Come,

help me.
They both started working again. While they were working, Dora suddenly stopped.

Dora: (in an irritated tone) Sam, I am very tired and parched. Can I please
go and have some water?

Sam: Okay go, but come back soon.

Dora: Sure, I will be back soon.
