                Imagine that you are contesting for the ‘Best Citizen’ award.


                   Make a checklist of all the activities that you need to do as a good citizen.
                   Think of all the things that you have done and the ones that you need to do.

                   Do as many activities as you can as a responsible citizen, for the next week.

                   Grade yourself on the basis of the checklist at the end of the week.




















































                           •     Social Science: Learners can be made to understand the concept

                                 of civic sense and their rights and duties, through this chapter.
                           •     Language: Learners can be asked to write a letter to local officials

                                 requesting them to clean the garbage in their area.
