(Adapted from Pedro Pablo Sacristan Sanz’s story—The Red Moon)

One night, Jimmy was standing on his terrace, observing the moon. Since he lived
in a city, it was almost impossible to see stars because of the pollution. But Jimmy
had a small telescope that had been gifted by his uncle. He was gazing at the stars

with it when, suddenly, he saw a flash of light. Jimmy saw a strange disc-like object
flying. He took a step back in excitement. The object slid to a halt, next to his house.

Jimmy was scared but curiosity overtook his emotions. At the crack of dawn, he
rushed out of the house and went near it. A strange creature came out of it.

Alien: Hi! I have come from Planet Hola.

Jimmy: You are an alien! Wow! I have seen aliens in films only. And you can

talk in my language too!

Alien: What is your name?

Jimmy: I am Jimmy. Why have you come to Earth?

Alien: (thinking before speaking) Err… actually, the people of my planet
have destroyed it. It has got so dirty that we are exploring other

planets to live on.
