Deer: (with a heavy heart) These humans destroy our jungle for their greed.

They make furniture and houses out of the wood from these trees.

Giraffe: Even we are left with very little food as many of the tall trees are gone.

We have no more tender leaves and shoots to pick from the upper
branches.

Everyone in the meeting was sad including Lion, the king.

King: (with a worried expression) The humans should realise that they are

damaging their environment along with ours.

Monkey: I hope they are aware that trees are also important for them. How will
they breathe if there are no trees? The environment is theirs too. They

should also take care of it.

While the discussion was on, they heard a group of people walking towards them.
The animals rushed deeper into the jungle to hide. They hid behind the bushes and

observed the humans from a distance. Some of them looked like forest rangers.

1 man: There is a barren patch here in the jungle. Let us plant some saplings here.

2 man: A lot of trees have been cut here. We must inform our officers.
