You read about Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landing on the
moon in 1969, in the chapter ‘A Walk on the Moon’.

Now, let us make our own model of Moon using the papier
                mâché technique.

                You will need:
                • a round balloon

                • old newspapers
                • flour

                • water
                • a paintbrush and some paints

                • a needle

                What to do:
                • Blow air into the balloon
until you get a round shape.

                • Tear pieces of newspaper into small strips.

                • Take a bowl and mix ½ cup flour and ½ cup water to get a mixture.
                • Dip pieces of newspaper into the mixture and cover the whole
                    balloon with it.

                • Keep your balloon aside to dry.
                • Once it is dry, dip your paintbrush into the flour mix and apply it
                    over the first layer.

                • Now, paste more newspaper pieces on the balloon and let it dry.
                • Do the previous step at least 7–8 times.

                • Then, paint your moon in light grey colour. You can use a pen to
                    draw some craters on it!

Your papier mâché moon is ready!
