Teacher’s Note: Animal tracks are the hoofprints or pawprints of an animal. Animals like horses and
cows have hooves whereas dogs and cats have paws. Tell children that animal tracks are useful to
identify animals living in a given area. This is a good way of integrating mathematics with nature and
environmental studies
