or the VECA Bellingham Abundance and Appreciation
Award I am giving it to Brent Fields. Brent has time and time again proven to be a VECA employee who goes above and beyond what is asked of him! He is great in all aspects of the job whether it be a simple rough in to intricate controls. Brent always gets it done with a good attitude and right the first time.

’ve chosen to pass the Abundance and Appreciation
Award on to Brandon Jenkins. I met Brandon many
years ago and have always enjoyed working with him. Brandon always takes the time to share his experience
and knowledge to the people around him. He is always the first one to jump in and help with even the most difficult projects. He pushes himself and everyone around him to work together as a team and to help better each other. Brandon always comes to work with a great attitude and he makes work an enjoyable place to be! Thank you, Brandon, for the many years of memories working together and things you have taught me along the way.

atthew, Matthew, Matthew Marchwiany, where do I start?
He is the only person in my career that has had the GC call me and request that he STOPS running to deliver material.
Matthew has worked closely with us for the last 14 months. His “can-do” attitude exemplifies the VECA work ethic! He always has a joke, a smile, and a laugh every day! He has worked while waiting patiently for the last 14 months to become an apprentice. He wants to learn and understand what we do, and why we do it. When he finally gets into the apprenticeship, he is going to make an EXCELLENT electrician! Thank you for all you do and the laughs we have while working.

’m passing the award of Abundance and Appreciation onto
Jesse Copps. I knew when I got the award who I’d pass it on to. Jesse is the living embodiment of the “GET IT DONE” attitude! No matter what gets thrown at him Jesse will always figure out a way to get it done and done right. Also, he is a great teacher.
If I have any questions or problems, I know I can go to him to get the best solutions. Jesse is always encouraging those around him to do their best, often with a “you can’t” or “you won’t” type of challenge. Whenever you complete the challenge he goes “I knew you could it!” I’m honored to have someone like Jesse as a mentor to have learned and to continue to learn from!
