  Availability Management Process
Availability Management Process
The Availability Management Process is responsible for the design, monitoring and delivery of correct amounts of IT service availability to meet current and future business availability requirements. The official goal is to ensure that service availability matches or exceeds the agreed current and future needs of the business in a cost effective manner. The availability of a service can be calculated by identifying the unavailability of individual components of a service, and then subtracting the cumulative unavailability from 100%.
