Using Communication as a Competitive Advantage
Domino’s Pizza has created a self-service ordering mechanism where you can not only order your pizza for delivery, but can also track the progress of it being prepared, cooked, quality checked, and delivered. You can also leave feedback directly specifically at the “named” individual who made your pizza. This is not only great for customer service, but changes the customer experience to make it interactive and even fun. The feedback to the store and cook is immediate, and helps to ensure employee engagement and concern for quality.
