RACI / Authority Matrix or Model
The RACI model is used for identifying roles and responsibilities. It is a tool that is used to address the identification and clarification of participant roles in the performance of a project or process. The RACI model will often alleviate questions or statements such as: ‘Why wasn’t I informed that this was occurring “, ‘I thought someone else was responsible for that’, ‘That was not my responsibility”, 'I have been given the responsibility, but not the authority to succeed’.
