ARTICLE IX
GARAGES AND DRIVEWAYS
A garage that is fully attached to the home and located on the property so as to provide
a paved concrete driveway for parking a minimum of one and one-half standard size
automobiles is required. Plans and specifications for such structures as garages,
driveways, sidewalks, pads, etc., shall be examined for size, placement and
configuration by the Board of Directors prior to construction and must have the
expressed written approval of that Board before construction begins. A standard
corrugated steel or concrete culvert of sutl1cient size to accommodate the driveway is
to be installed under the driveway in the swale (drainage ditch) to promote runoff during
heavy rains. Mechanical maintenance and/ or repair work, except in emergency or the
parking of inoperable vehicles is not permitted on driveways. Carports are not
permitted.
