SAMBA: - Samba is the way a Linux computer communication with SMB and CIFS protocols. With
samba, you can make your Linux computer a part of a Microsoft based network. Computer with various
microsoft OS can communicate with each other using the SMB (server message block) protocol.
When a Microsoft OS shares files or printers on a TCP/IP network, it uses the CIFS (Common Internet
          File System) protocol.

          Requirements: -
          Packages:-samba……………………….rpm
                        Samba-common……………rpm
                        Samba-client……………….rpm
          Port Numbers:-
                 137- Net BIOS Name Service.
                 138- Net BIOS Datagram Service.
                 139- Net BIOS Session Service.
          Configuration file:-
                 /etc/samba/smb.conf

          Service:-
          Smb

          Daemon:-
Samba services are implemented as two daemons:
          1. smbd, It provides the file and printer sharing services. It manages file transfers and authentication.
          2. nmbd It provides the NetBIOS-to-IP-address name service. NetBIOS over TCP/IP requires some
method for mapping NetBIOS computer names to the IP addresses of a TCP/IP network.
          3. Winbind: It started to handle Microsoft Windows Domain membership.
          Nmbd (Net BIOS naming daemon)
          Smbd (Server message block deamon)
