SAMBA: - Samba is the way a Linux computer communication with SMB and CIFS protocols. With
samba, you can make your Linux computer a part of a Microsoft based network. Computer with various
microsoft OS can communicate with each other using the SMB (server message block) protocol.
When a Microsoft OS shares files or printers on a TCP/IP network, it uses the CIFS (Common Internet
File System) protocol.

Daemon:-
Samba services are implemented as two daemons:
1. smbd, It provides the file and printer sharing services. It manages file transfers and authentication.
2. nmbd It provides the NetBIOS-to-IP-address name service. NetBIOS over TCP/IP requires some
method for mapping NetBIOS computer names to the IP addresses of a TCP/IP network.
3. Winbind: It started to handle Microsoft Windows Domain membership.
