Ambassador One of the benefits of using metrics is that we increase the likelihood of success in the future by analyzing past

actions in order to learn from mistakes and creating new strategies based on our learnings. By identifying
Shout-outs: patterns and using historical data, we can predict future results or impacts in different situations. Metrics inform

us of recurring situations—Based on the collected data, the metrics indicate the scenarios considered to be
risky with a certain level of reliability. This gives managers more assertiveness when making important
                                 decisions.
Based on metrics, it is possible to foresee a favorable or unfavorable scenario to the company's objective and
anticipate a decision or define strategies in order to achieve business development and even leverage the
                                 development of the LCO employees.
Jess Bluebond-Langner for One example of metrics being used for the development of LCO employees is the tool created by
her help with ARDx the MtM Workstream called “Standardized Training Effectiveness Tool” to help the Skills
Toxicology issues. & Development (S&D) Workstream to measure the effectiveness of their trainings.
The aim of this tool is to provide a set of metrics and standard evaluation questions to help S&D to measure
LCO´s ability to effectively deliver key technical and soft skills and improve upon those skills. The objective was
to understand if the trainings and soft communications were effective and able to increase the ability of LCO
professionals to identify and analyze key business issues; recommend actions to address the issues; and
execute the actions. Once data has been gathered and interpreted, the metrics will allow us to optimize the
learning and identify where the gaps are that need to be covered to achieve the strategic functions of LCO
                                 employees.

Casey Westover for his Metrics can help anticipate and forecast impacts by adding value not only to decision-making, but also to
developing skills, recognizing unidentified needs, and streamlining professionals to work more strategically and
         support in resolving a efficiently.
