ON THE MUTE; ON THE HOLD
Why have you been into our lives?
To shatter and pull us down of our vibes
All our bonding with each other
               Is gone; and with fear
We live and shed our tear.
To free us from your wave
Let us live our lives with no another wave.
               Steps on the dance floor
               Count on the music beats
               The clap and the laugh
With a hifi and a hug.
Never had we even in our dream
Could think of shedding all these away!
No lockdown ever had been in our dream
Nor a day we could be away!!
You’ve scared us and haunted all our ones dear
As a pack of wolves would hunt a deer
Ripped off our strength physically and mentally
And put us into the race with no humanity.
There’s no lovelier smile on our face
As the mask holds the stale air
The fresh wind never touches our face
And goes back as if the waves touch the shore.
               On the fear of
               What you’re and what you’ll do -
               We fear
Our loved and dear for whatever they do.
