Trainer Mac Benson at Payson Park. Mac, who has been wintering at Payson for more than two decades, currently has 14 horses in training.
Trainer Reade Baker has 22 horses in training at Palm Meadows in Florida. This is his first year at the training centre in Boynton Beach. Pictured here are two 3-year-old fillies owned by Jim McAlpine. The bay filly on the inside is ‘She’s Dynamite’ who was purchased as a 2- year-old for $50,000. The chestnut filly is ‘Lucky Tomoli’ purchased for $85,000 at the Adena Springs 2-year-olds in training sale.

These 2-year-old colts have already began training in January at Payson Park in Florida for Hall of Fame conditioner Roger Attfield.
Each of the colts were purchased out of the
2004 CTHS Yearling Sale last September.
On the rail is, Shadow Rush, a Skywalker colt who was the $265,000 sale topper.
In the middle is, High Muckety Muck, a Highland Ruckus colt who was purchased for $115,000
and on the outside is Society’s Chairman, by the late sire, Not Impossible, who was purchased for $40,000.
2004 Coronation Futurity winner, Ablo, is out for morning training with exercise rider Marty Gibson aboard at Payson Park. The 3-year-old son of Lite the Fuse, is trained by Roger Attfield who also owns him in partnership with Michael & Phyllis Canino and William Werner.
Former Jockey Mario Mendoza takes in the morning training action at Payson Park in Florida. The Lima, Peru native was the South American Triple Crown Winner when he was 22-years- old and had a stint riding at Woodbine in 1980.
