38. Water Bowline






               Probably the most secure bowline, the Water Bowline forms two Half

               Hitches around the bight in the working end. It’s especially useful to
               maintain security in wet, slippery line, yet it can still be untied easily.



                 Uses: general lifting and pulling, safety, docklines, especially in wet, slippery rope

                 Pros: extremely secure

                 Cons: uses more rope; trickier to tie than regular Bowline
