It is the end of the story. Sometimes the story ends happily or sadly.

Grammatical Features
• Use of Past Tense
eg: lived, asked, came, felt, etc.
• Use Adverbs of Time (kata keterangan waktu)
e.g : once, once upon a time, long time ago, etc.
• Pronoun
• Adverbia penghubung waktu
eg : then, after that, soon, before, first, at last, finally, etc.
• Adjectives (to describe the people, animal or things in the story)
eg : beautiful girl, kind man, handsome boy, long black hair, etc.
• Use of Action Verbs (kata kerja yang berkenaan dengan kegiatan fisik)
eg: They went up the hill
• Use of Mental Processes (kata kerja yang berkenaan dengan feeling atau thinking)
eg : hated, like
• Kalimat langsung dan tidak langsung
• Kosakata yang terkait dengan kehidupan tokoh cerita

Kinds of Narrative text

These kinds are based on the story types. The types of narratives are:
A. fable: Simple fable is a story about animal which behave like human
B. myths: stories that are believed by some people but the stories cannot be true. It was told
in an ancient culture to explain a practice, belief, or natural occurrence
C. legend: It simple a story which relates to on how a place is formed
D. fairy tales:Story which relate much which magic things
E. science fiction story: Story which explore the science as the background or plot of the
whole story
F. short stories: Story fo one or two pages
G. parables: Story that illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles. Parable differs
from a fable.
H. novels: Long even very long and complex story
I. horror story: A story with horror contents

➢ A simple Example 1

Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Cinderella. She was pretty, loving and
clever.
But she was very poor. She lived with her stepmother and stepsisters. They were very
mean. They hated Cinderella very much.
Fortunately, she met a prince. He fell in love with her. Then, Cinderella became a
princess.
