Hi, Kids! Have fun coloring, reading, and exploring with Max and his friends.   One Mission
           Nĭhǎo! (Hello!) My name Chen Chi He or Ethan in English.
                                 Welcome to Taiwan!                                                 Kids

                                  I am nine years old, and I live on the small island            Presents
                                  of Taiwan in the city of Taichung.

                                   Six days a week, I wake up at 5:00 a.m. to catch
                                   the train to school. After school I attend tutorial
                                          programs called bushi bons until after dark.

                                        I buy noodles from a vendor for my supper
                                        and work on homework until late at night.

                                   On holidays I enjoy riding my bike, playing
                                basketball, and reading comic books. I also
                               take piano lessons.

                               I study English and attend summer English camp
                               to improve my language skills.

                         I attend the Sunday Night Alive English program every
     week so I can practice my English and learn more about Jesus.

      mon. More than 23.5 million people live on this mountainous island that is
      smaller than the U.S. states of Maryland and Delaware combined.

      Here are a few of our favorite things about Taiwan.

                             •  Bubble tea, candied fruit sticks, magi (sticky rice           TAIWAN

                                 and hundreds of butterflies—
                             •  Sky lanterns, dragon boats, karaoke, hot springs,
                                 and glass bottomed Maokong Gondola—
