Hello! My name is Daire.
Welcome to Ireland! Kids
I am 11 years old, and I live in Dublin, Presents
Ireland.
I wake up at 7:00 every morning to get
ready for school which starts at 9:00.
Most days I take the DART, the local
train, to school, but sometimes my
mum drives me.
Some of my subjects are English,
math, history, French, and Irish.
Learning to speak Irish is really
difficult!
After school on Mondays, I play
rugby with the under-11’s team.
Our matches are on Saturdays.
Dinner always includes potatoes— “Declare his glory among the
boiled, roasted, or chips (French fries.) My favorite dinner is

MAX’s TRAX
One Mission Society began working in Ireland in 1997. The island is divided NORTHERN
into two regions, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It has
beautiful green pastures and low lying mountains with soft-flowing rivers.
Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle because it rains so much that things
stay green.
