PAWs to Pray with MAX’s Friends

Here’s a letter we received from a friend in Ecuador. Please
pray for him and thousands of Ecuadorian children like
Praise — Thank God for what He does

Ask — Pray to God for help Hi, friends! My name is Jonathan, and I’m seven years old.
I live in Cuenca, Ecuador, with my dad and brothers. My

grandmother takes care of me. I haven’t seen my mom in
Surrender — Listen to and obey God a long time because she went to work in Spain.
Every week I go to Sunday school. I don’t like sitting still
very much, so sometimes it is hard for me to listen closely.
I miss having my mom with me to take care of me and to
teach me about Jesus. I’m glad for my teachers at church

who are patient with me and help me learn.
Lots of parents in my city have gone to Spain, Italy, or the

United States. They find jobs there and send us money for
our food, clothes, and other things. It is nice that they
send us money, but we miss having them with us.
“For my father
and my mother
have forsaken me,
but the Lord
will take me in.” We LOVE Ecuador!
