                                     Welcome to Mozambique!                                         Kids

                                     I am 8 years old, and live in T—3.


                                     I was born in an outdoor toilet.
                                     Someone heard me crying.

                                     They scooped me out of the toilet
                                     and saved me. That is why I was
                                     named Salvado. It means saved.


                                     A family from the T—3 church
                                     adopted me.

                                     I have been able to attend the OMS

                                     preschool where my adopted mom
      works. There I learned my ABC’s, how to count, how to write my
      name, and many stories and songs about Jesus.                                        “Declare his glory among the
                                                                                           nations, his marvelous works
      Now I am going to public school. Please pray that my family and
      I will grow closer to Jesus.                                                         among all the  peoples!

      One Mission Society began working in Mozambique in 1996.                          MOZAMBIQUE

      Mozambique is located in southeast Africa, on the Indian Ocean. It is one
      of the poorest countries in the world. Mozambique is a country full of
      small villages and people living in a rural setting.
