                                                                     Come help me! It’ll be
       oops! fun to work together.

       OMS missionary Valeene recalls
       an oops from her early
       missionary days in Haiti. Christ-centered

One day while working in the 4VEH radio station realized the Gratitude
wrong tape was playing. She rushed to Daniel, a Haitian, and
blurted, “That’s the wrong tape. Hurry put on the music!”
Max is on the move again!
Daniel simply looked at her without responding.

Valeene impatiently exclaimed, “Daniel, it’s the wrong tape. Can you guess where Max will travel to
You must quickly change to music!” next?

Daniel folded his hands in his lap and again looked at her. Here are some clues:

Finally he said, “Today I will teach you a lesson. No matter how  The climate is very
urgent or important your message might be, you must never damp and rainy.
begin without saying, ‘Bon jou. Koma ou ye? (Good day. How  People eat lots of potatoes.
       are you?)’”
                                                                         St. Patrick lived here.
Valeene’s oops taught her an important Haitian
manners lesson.  Nicknamed “The Emerald Isle”
