Woof! Woof! (My name is Max the Dog!) Kids
Welcome to the missions adventure Makin’ Trax with Max
                                                                                                 Presents
I love missions and traveling the world.

Sometimes though, I get so excited
when I visit new places and meet new
friends I forgot where I left my bones.

Will you help my missionary friends,
                                      Scarlett Macaw and Sweating Tiger,
find out where I’ve left them?

As you do, I know you too will love
                                      seeing the world and discovering
how you can share God’s love with
                                      those you meet.

Have fun and remember — keep growing!

Before the founders of One Mission Society began reaching the world
they first started by sharing God’s love and light with the people that among all the peoples!
they knew, worked with, and anyone they met.
                                                                                          —Psalm 96:3 ESV
More than 120 years ago, a young man named
Charles Cowman worked at a telegraph
office in Chicago. He loved Jesus so
much that he told everyone about Him.

As he shared about Jesus with the
                                others, including his friend Ernest
Kilbourne. These men then shared the Good News of Jesus with
even more people they knew. God showed them the needs of
people all over the world to know Jesus, too. They began
praying for people in Japan and for an evangelist named Juji
Nakada, who wrote that there were 57 million people at that
time who needed Jesus in Japan.

In 1901, Charles and Lettie Cowman and moved to Japan. A year
later Ernest and Julia Kilbourne joined them. Together with the
Nakadas began the missionary work known today as One Mission Society
(OMS). Today, OMS is telling people about Jesus in more than 75
       countries all over the world.
These men’s lives teach us that doing the work of a missionary first starts Destination:
by sharing God’s love and light with the people right where we are, and
that from there God can help us to reach the world!

God loves the WORLD and so does One Mission Kids!
