Meet Uncle Moshe
From South America to the Holy Land
Hello, my name is Moshe! I grew up and lived in Brazil,
South America, until God called me to be an OMS missionary
in the Holy Land of Israel. Because both of my parents were
Jewish, my family and I followed the Jewish religion and
traditions.
Before my Bar Mitzvah* (when
a 12-13-year-old Jewish boy
becomes a Jewish man) I felt led
to become a Messianic believer,
also called a Christian.
After understanding that Jesus is the true
Messiah, I knew that God would use me to spread the
Gospel throughout the world, but I had no idea where or
how.
While I was in seminary school, God called me to share his
love and light with the Jewish community in Israel. Since I
already understand the Jewish religion so well, my family
and I easily talk with others about how God (whom we call
Yahweh) had a Son named Yeshua (Jesus) who died and rose
again to pay for everyone’s sins.
I love it when the people that I talk to in Israel ask about or
become more interested in hearing about the Good News.
*A Bat Mitzvah is when a 12-13 year old Jewish girl becomes a Jewish woman.

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New
Year. The treat can symbolize the coming of an amazing, sweet
year!
