Welcome To The Parker Party
Parker People are people we know......or people we think we know.......or people we
want to know.
Parker People are a cast of characters that have just arrived at a chic party, coiffed,
egocentric and ready to connect. There is the perky bosomed 30 year old with
perfectly painted lips, the sumptuous goddess, Venus flowing with jewels, as well as
the gay guy sporting his newest coolest bow tie ever.
There is humor, pomp and circumstance, erotica and empathy. The artist, Ron Parker
has carefully filtered the world around him with insight and deep understanding of
the human condition. The personalities are playful engaging and flirtatious. The
essence of ones beauty, ones addictions, desires and human contradictions are all
drawn with an economy of line and color for your private amusement.
The lines are purposeful, and flowing - Matisse like, while the love of masks and the
cubist definition of space are firmly tied to Picasso. Minimal color is brushed or
sketched in, to imply the state of ones psyche or simply to define ones fashion
persuasion.
We initially gravitate to Parker People because of their simplicity and elegance but
we want to know them because the impression we are left with is that they will
expose or at least reveal some sexy positive aspect about ourselves that we had
momentarily forgotten to explore.
These portraits are icons of beauty, humor and psychological mystery.
