So, really, what is a muse?
Have you met Yvonne Parker?
I mean, in real life?
She is gorgeous and effervescent and vibrant and pure joy. She is sexy and funny and
spirited and tall. Ron lights up around her. It's instantaneous. Truly. She comes in the
room, and boom - Ron's a goner.
So, then where is the muse?
Right here - right in front of you - in each page of this book - look at each piece: it is
in Ron's wonderful, delightful, sensuous, sexy, romantic, wacky, spirited, funny,
charming, and magical Parker People. Can you see her? Can you see Yvonne?
Probably not, not with the naked eye, but most certainly she is here. I swear she is. I
would wager they bring out the best (and worst) of each other. In good times, in bad
times - in the heat of the moment, in the darkness of the night, in the cold of the
winter, in the warmth of the summer. They ignite the 'spark,' and they keep it lit
through pure unadulterated love.
So, really, how does this happen, this muse thing?
It can be private, personal, consumed, shared, enjoyed, ogled, googled, questioned,
talked about, and held (in the best of days) in the highest esteem. It is in our soul. It
walks through the door, sits down in the chair, smiles from across the room, sways in
your arms, and lays down next to you. It is unspoken, the silent. It is in the eyes. It is a
smell, a fragrance -- jasmine, gardenia, lemon, mint, rose. It is what moves you every
single day. It is what gets you out of bed. It is what gets you into bed. It is within the
prayer you evoke even if you're agnostic or an atheist, because when you look up to
