since primitive man discovered
Parker People Plates utilitarian chemistry between a hot fire
and a handful of clay. It didn't take long
before a determined decorative effort
was applied to the surface of plates of
all kinds throughout history.

Ron Parker has been exploring the
magic in simple line drawings for over
three decades on paper and ceramics.

In this mixed-media series Ron is
collaborating with his wife Yvonne,
creating original, one of a kind works of
art. Ron draws one of his "off center-on
target" people on the porcelain plate,
then adds the text and Yvonne is doing
their coloration.
