"The Labyrinth"
There have been many stories, fables and tales - such as the tale of the
Minotaur - about the labyrinth throughout centuries. The English term
"labyrinth" can be translated into Chinese as "migong," which literally
means "a perplexing palace."
Like all great art, Hua Min's painting "The Labyrinth" needs time and contemplation to
be deciphered. His painting takes us on a spiritual journey into another world, into
the labyrinth of the soul, into the palace of our mind.
Which life and life path do we choose for ourselves? The labyrinth shows us many
different ways, but it is not obvious which one is the right way. With many twists and
turns, the labyrinth does not share its secrets easily.
The labyrinth can be a powerful tool for one's enhancement and development. It is
designed specifically for this purpose. When walking the labyrinth we find our
perspective constantly changing. Our vision and physical bodies are never facing the
same direction or choices for long. Some people see it as life's journey one must take
within, to discover ones own center.
