humans and nature, and among humans themselves. Because of its unique
geographical location, Tibet's natural environment constantly poses a serious
challenge to human survival. The relationship between nature and humans and
among humans themselves thus becomes simple, direct, and free from various
pretense that often accompany so called "Civilization."

On the other hand, the aesthetics of Chinese painting also require the artist to
explore thoroughly the essence of things without being fooled by superficial
phenomenon. I believe it is in a combination of these two perspectives that I found a
shining spot. To me, it is a very pleasant and inspiring creative process.
