Lou LaRiche


                            Retiring President
































                        A  native  of  Cleveland,  outgoi ng  Plymouth  Rotary  President  Lou  LaRiche  has  been  in
                    the automotive sales business for some 34 years now.

                        After a career as a salesman,  Lou  became a Volkswagen dealer in  1964 in  Findlay,  Ohio,
                    and  ran  that  agency  until  coming  to  Plymouth  in  1970 when  he  purchased the  Chevrolet
                    dealership once owned  by the  late  Frank  Allison, also a Plymouth  Rotarian. The dealership
                    on  N.  Main  Street was  purchased  in  March  1970 and the new dealership on Plymouth  Road
                    was opened in  August  1971.

                        A  graduate  of John  Carrol l University  in  Cleveland,  Lou  served  as a  First  Lieutenant in
                    the  U.S.  Army.  His  hobbies  include  golf  and  tennis  and  riding  his tractors at home, and  his
                    part-time  activities  include  making television  commercials.  Lou  and  wife  Gail  have a family
                    of seven  children  of whom three are married. Just this past year,  Lou  became a grandfather.
                    He also  has two sons working  in  another dealership he owns in  Find lay, Ohio.

                        The  Lou  LaRiche  dealership  has  won  many  service  and  sales  awards  from  General
                    Motors  and  is  currently  ranked  in  the  top  10%  of all  Chevrolet dealerships  for service  in
                    the U.S.A.
