the sipp curriculum
The John Fawkner College SIP Program provides students with a
curriculum that consists of sports-themed units of work across domians
in years 7-12.
Linked to learning outcomes as prescribed by the AusVels curriuclum
framework, the program engages students who have a passion for sport
in traditional non-sporting domains such as English, Mathematics, Sci-
ence, Art and Humanities.
SIPP also enhances the Health and Physiacal Education domain through
the practical opportunities that are inherent in the partnerships the
school has forged with elite sporting organisations such as Melbourne
City FC and Melbourne Rebels.
The following pages outline the units of work that are delivered as part
of the SIP Program through Years 9-12 at John Fawkner College.
