The opportunity to challenge students and build a growth mindset is at
the core of the BRONX LIVE RADIO project.

Why not encourage students to reach for the stars and invite big name
community champions, role models and celebrities who hail from the
Bronx, on their shows?

Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Al Pacino, Richard Alba, Kelly Washington, Billy

Joel and Eric Holder are some famous people who were born and bred in
the Bronx.

Whether they are successful or not, inviting high-profile guests for their
BRONX LIVE RADIO shows offers students a rich tapestry of skill
development.

This endeavor teaches them the art of networking, emphasising the value
of building and nurturing professional relationships.

Drafting outreach emails hones their written communication skills,
ensuring clarity and persuasiveness.

The process fosters resilience and persistence as they handle rejection or
non-responses, teaching them perseverance.

Negotiating terms and coordinating schedules bolster organisational and
interpersonal skills.

Moreover, interviewing esteemed guests refines their active listening
