THE PROGRAM

BRONX LIVE TRAINING WORKSHOPS,

RECORDING & BROADCASTING SESSIONS

The BRONX LIVE RADIO project is a five-day program encompassing
training workshops, recording and broadcast sessions.

The program can accommodate up to 50 students, divided into two
groups of 25.

Online Preparatory Sessions

Prior to the in-person component of the program, there will be a series of
online pre-production sessions with the students. During these sessions,

students will:
• Be introduced to the concepts, protocols and production techniques
of radio broadcasting.
• Decide on the guests they wish to invite for interviews and devise a
strategy on how to reach out to these guests
• Develop a promotional strategy to advertise the BRONX LIVE RADIO
broadcasts to their school and local community.

Training Workshops and Broadcast Sessions

Session 1:
Introduction to hosting and presenting a radio show and conducting
captivating interviews.

Session 2:
Producing engaging content: An exploration of radio and podcast
production, videography and photography.

Session 3:
Broadcast Session 1: Broadcast content with a school-centric theme.

Session 4:
Broadcast Session 2: Broadcast content with an emphasis on family.

Session 5:
Broadcast Session 3: Broadcast content that focuses on the community.

This broadcast will be an off-campus session held at a prominent
community location.
