POWERING STUDENT PASSION AND
COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Organisers of the Strike4Climate event in 2019
estimated that over 300,000 people attended 100
rallies across the country.

Worldwide, strikes gathered roughly 4 million
protesters, many of them schoolchildren, including
1.4 million people on strike in Germany.

These were likely the largest climate strikes in world
history.

Clearly young people in communities across the world
are passionate about the future of the planet, and are
committed to working with others to protect it.

2040 LIVE is a platform that powers and fuels the
passion and commitment young people have to the
environment, and houses a global community where
like-minded people can share ideas, learn from others
and build awareness.
